First Look of New 10 Rupee coin with New Rupee Symbol

Now that we have our New Rupee symbol, Govt of India is planning to release its new 10 rupee coin which has this rupee symbol.

For people who don’t know about what this new rupee symbol resembles below is short note:

The new rupee symbol partially resembles the Devanagri ‘Ra’ and Roman capital ‘R’ without the stem coupled with two parallel lines – in line with Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee’s vision for a symbol which reflects and captures Indian ethos and culture.

The Below Picture shows the First look of the New 10 Rupee coin with new rupee symbol. These pics were shared by Ahmedabad’s 94.3 FM RJ Krupa. I am not sure if this is real design released by Govt.

    But as much i know; Delhi HC has already allows RTI activist to file PIL in “Indian Rupee Symbol Scam” (as DMK leader non-eligible son win the competition) – Google “Rupee Symbol Scam”
